Toffee wrappers can be made of twist wrap wax paper, with a printed strip of metallized polyester foil glued inside. This is a very elegant and eye-catching form of confectionery packaging.

The same method can be used to produce fudge wrappers, simply replacing the twist wrap paper with one-sided coated paper.
